AskSARA

If you’re not sure what support you need, AskSARA is an easy online tool that can help you figure it out. It asks simple questions about your daily tasks and health, then suggests equipment or services that might make things easier for you.

AskSARA gives you advice and ideas to improve your day-to-day life, whether that’s help around the house, getting out and about, or staying independent. It’s a quick and simple way to find the right support for you.

Technology Enabled Care (TEC)

TEC helps people live safely and live more independently. In Cornwall, we use TEC to support people of all ages, including unpaid carers.

  • Assistive technology - devices that help with daily tasks
  • Telecare - sensors and alarms that keep people safe
  • Telehealth - equipment to monitor health from home
  • Telemedicine - remote access to doctors and nurses
  • Tele coaching - digital support and advice

TEC tools can be simple and familiar. It includes things like:

  • Alexa or smart speakers
  • Apps to track health or fitness, as well as teaching independence
  • Sensors that detect movement or falls
  • Personal alarms like lifeline
  • Andi hubs smart devices that help people stay safe, stay connected and give carers and family peace of mind

Andi Hub

The Andi Hub is a digital home service designed to support by monitoring habits and alerting next of kin of any changes. Part of our Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services, our unique Andi Hub monitors other devices around the home and notifies of any negative changes, allowing for faster interventions and preventative care.
